Clock Repair FAQ

Cost depends entirely on the clock and the fault. A house call and adjustment sits at the low end, a standard cleaning and oiling in the middle, and a full movement overhaul with bushing work at the upper end. We provide a free estimate before any work begins, and we never start additional work without your approval.

A straightforward cleaning and oiling normally takes two to three weeks, because every movement runs on our test stand for at least fourteen days before it goes home. A full restoration with case work and fabricated parts can take several months, and we keep you informed at every stage.

Yes. Large longcase clocks, wall regulators and built-in clocks are best serviced where they stand. We cover Glendale, Phoenix, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City and the surrounding Maricopa County communities.

Plan on a full cleaning and oiling every five to seven years, and light maintenance in between. In the dry Arizona climate, oils evaporate faster than in humid regions, so shorter intervals are often the right call.

We do. Battery movements can be repaired or replaced, and we can fit a quartz movement to a decorative case when a mechanical repair is not economical.

We accept major cards, cash and check. Larger restoration projects are usually split into a deposit and a balance on completion.

Yes. Clocks are logged on arrival, photographed, stored securely and never left partially assembled. Your clock is insured while it is in our care.
